Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Happy Tuesday, Wormies! I’m super excited to do a fashion inspired post today! I decided to pick YA as my theme since I’ve been posting a lot of adult romances.

I also had a little snafu Sunday night because my Polyvore sets were automatically published by mistake! Eeek! If you guys subscribe to me on WordPress, you probably got the weird post updates… I truly apologize.

Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [Harry Potter #6]

view on Polyvore

This post would not be complete if I didn’t include Miss Hermione Granger! I picked Half-Blood Prince because this was the time where Hermione is a little bit older and could pick out fashionable outfits!

Katniss Everdeen, The Hunger Games [The Hunger Games #1]

view on Polyvore

I envision Katniss in the present. She will probably be super angsty, dress in all skintight black leather with bright make-up. She is also ready for anything and looks deadly with those awesome boots!

Crescent Darnel, Cress [The Lunar Chronicles #3]

view on Polyvore

Cress is my favorite character in The Lunar Chronicles and I absolutely adore her! I picture her wearing this cute off the shoulder dress looking all cute for Thorne! While creating this set, I was thinking of her first landing here on Earth when she saw the blue sky for the first time.

Lady Aileana Kameron, The Falconer [The Falconer #1]

view on Polyvore

Aileana is a kickass fighter and assassin of the fae. She is also a debutante and what perfect way to hide all her weapons than this amazing Gothic inspired black and gold gown! I picture her accessories as weapons, too!

Audrey Rose Wadsworth, Stalking Jack the Ripper [Stalking Jack the Ripper #1]

view on Polyvore

Audrey Rose is another kickass Victorian heroine! I picture her today as a fashionable yet casual lady ready for anything thrown her way. I totally see her walking in a dark alley during a stormy night – in killer heels, of course!

Kady, Illuminae [Illuminae Files #1]

view on Polyvore

Kady is a hacker and I picture her wearing super comfy and loose outfits. She is also ready for anything and will take her gadgets with her everywhere she goes.

Have you read any of the books mentioned above?

Do you think my choices are spot on for the characters?

  1. Polyvore is such a great app, and I have a lot of fun matching Characters with clothing! I am honestly OBSESSED with your aesthetic picks, especially the one for Cress and Lady Aileana. I’m curious though: which of the clothing bundles you made is your favorite?
I was on hiatus for the entire month of November when I was supposed to write about this fantastic topic on leaders because of exams, so I missed it. But I ended up writing it anyway with my own twist and posting it on the blog weeks later. I couldn’t pass the opportunity!

My topic is Leaders of a Bank Robbery Operation, LOL. <3

  2. That first set is cute, but I love the black and red one! (Favorite colors lol.) You’re right, Katniss prob would dress angsty and in leather with kick-butt boots. But oh that brown gown is GORGEOUS and I love that whole outfit you put together!!! But the one I’m most likely to wear is the last one lol. Comfy is my style, usually shorts and long-sleeves, so it’s perfect for me, haha.
