ATTENTION READERS!!!! Perfect Love is a sequel to Perfect Sense. It is recommended, as it is a continuation, to read Perfect Sense before reading Perfect Love.
The story that started with PERFECT SENSE continues...
Cash Brooks held a secret from Quinn that destroyed any chance they had at a happy ending.
Everything she believed their relationship to be was a lie.
Quinn left heartbroken for Harvard, unable to stop loving him even though she knew his past ruined any chance they had at a future.
Now, she’s in Boston completing her MBA and learning to move on without the only man she ever loved. Starting over isn’t easy… especially when an unlikely circumstance pulls her into Cash’s world once again. The truth will come out, hearts will be broken, and Cash will have to battle the mistakes from his past and fight for a second chance to be with the woman he loves.
Their love isn’t perfect, but will it be enough for Quinn to learn to trust him again? Or will the burden and mistakes from his past keep them apart forever?
So, I’m not really a fan of sports romance and contemporary romance in general but the blurb for Perfect Love intrigued me.
Boy, was I surprised! And I mean this in a good way! I was also lucky to read Perfect Sense in preparation to reading this book and I recommend that you read it first before diving into this book.
Let me just say that I absolutely HATED the end of Perfect Sense and in fact, I didn’t even want to proceed to the next book because MAN, was that a cliffhanger! Anyway, Perfect Love starts right after Perfect Sense ends. And yeah, I have to say that I hated Cash Brooks. I didn’t think that he could redeem himself, but I was really surprised that he did.
Cash really did something dick-ish AND also kept something secret from Quinn, when she didn’t deserve it. So, while I didn’t enjoy Perfect Sense, Perfect Love redeemed the duology for me.
Overall, Perfect Love was an enjoyable read. My only complaint is that there were too many typos and it totally took me out of the story while reading. I understand that this is an ARC and there is bound to be a ton of mistakes, I spotted a lot of it.
