A Really Slow Burn Romance | We Are Us by Tara Leigh [ARC Review]

A Really Slow Burn Romance | We Are Us by Tara Leigh [ARC Review]

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. We are Us is my first DNF of this year. I am legit DNFing at 90%!!!! I was very interested in the plot of We are Us. In fact, I was bawling through the flashback – especially during the time when Poppy and Gavin met in the woods at thirteen and their friendship grew and ultimately changed to love. That flashback really broke me. Unfortunately, the flashback took more than half of the […]

I Made Some Reading Progress-ish | February 2020 Monthly Wraps

I Made Some Reading Progress-ish | February 2020 Monthly Wraps

Last month on I Heart Romance   Happy LEAP YEAR, Wormies! I am in a much better mood right now, even though I was traveling almost every day for work last month! Whew! The upside to that is that I’ve listened to a few more books this month, the downside is that I haven’t been reading at night. I’ve been watching a lot of Beauty YouTube videos in the last few weeks or so and I don’t really know why! I don’t even wear a lot of make-up! I have to say that I have also been watching Romance Booktube, too! […]

A Unique Paranormal World! War of Hearts by S. Young [ALC Review]

A Unique Paranormal World! War of Hearts by S. Young [ALC Review]

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the audiobook or the content of my review. I had heard a lot of amazing things about War of Hearts by S. Young (Samantha Young) but I did not expect this book to blow me away! I don’t read a lot of paranormal romance books, and I also didn’t read a lot of detailed reviews of the book. So, when I saw that this was offered as an ALC, I decided to request it and I do not regret it one bit! War of Hearts is […]

Favorite February 2020 Covers

Favorite February 2020 Covers

Top Three Tuesday is my spin on Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl   It’s almost the end of the month and I am here sharing my favorite covers for February! I find that I am liking illustrated covers more and more! If you see the newer illustrated covers, you’ll see how better they are than those a couple of years ago. Don’t you agree?   Why I love this I have a love/hate reaction to this cover. I love it because it absolutely screams Cinderella but it also doesn’t scream historical romance. I don’t exactly know what Avon is […]

How I Edit Bookstagram Photos Using Free Apps

How I Edit Bookstagram Photos Using Free Apps

Let’s talk about anything bookish!   I promised to have this post up last week, but work happened and I have been getting home late last week, so I didn’t have time to screen record a sample of how I edit a photo on the app. The good news is, I have a screen recording of that so I hope that is helpful to you! If you like my aesthetic, you can follow me on Instagram! I use all these apps (at some point) to edit bookstagram photos on my phone. I prefer editing them on my phone because I […]

I need more time to read! Currently Reading 2020 Weeks 7-8

I need more time to read! Currently Reading 2020 Weeks 7-8

Bookish updates in the last 2 weeks   How has everyone been? I was extremely busy last week and have been coming home at around 7 almost every night that I didn’t have the energy to blog! Reading has gone down the drain, but I managed to finish a couple of books! We also saw Sonic the Hedgehog yesterday and I thought it was okay. Sonic looked well animated, though. I think pushing back the release date and reanimating Sonic worked well for them! I also finished reading Chasing Cassandra last week and it was good! Not as much as I hoped it […]
