Happy Birthday Post + Blogoversary Giveaway

Posted April 5, 2016 by Zeee in Blog Tours, Giveaways36 Comments

Today marks another year for me.  I am older, hopefully wiser (ehemm), and more active in the book blogging community!  Today also marks my four-year BLOGOVERSAY!  Of course, a big chunk of those years has been spent not being active, and blogging slumps, and no giveaways!

It’s been years since I made a digital scrapbook page (this one was from a couple of years ago!), so I am sharing one with you!  I love to digital scrapbook but I just don’t have the time (and photos) to scrap right now.

For fun, I decided to create a short quiz!  Find out how much you know about MOI This isn’t a required task to participate in the giveaway!  So sit back, relax and let’s get to know each other!

To celebrate my birthday and blogoversary, I will be having an INTERNATIONAL and US ONLY GIVEAWAY!  Yes, there will be TWO WINNERS! 🙂

One winner will win ONE BOOK up to $20 USD.  This is open INTERNATIONALLY wherever Book Depository Ships

One winner will win a box of 6 books that I already have (photo will be posted later!).  This is open for US only.

  • Open to anyone 18 and up.
  • You have 48 hours to claim your price after the winner has been announced or I will pick another.
  • No giveaway only accounts, please.  I will be checking!

  1. Now that I am up there in age, I am a hundred percent happy with just going to dinner with my family, and coming home and watching tv cuddled up with my husband. Perfect. Bday! Happy birthday to you, and thank you for the giveaway!

Mine was just last week. We cooked out yesterday and my daughters made cherry cheesecake for me.

Happy birthday and wishing you a wonderful blogoversary and many more to come! I like to celebrate low-key, nothing fancy.

  4. Summer

Happy Birthday! My birthday is usually really simple, just at home, dinner and cake with my family.

  5. Karen M.

I’m at the age where “celebrate” and “birthday” shouldn’t be in the same sentence! I usually go out with friends to lunch and the casino. Happy Birthday/Blogoversary!

    Happy blogoversary!!!
I usually celebrate my birthday with lots of cake! My sister loves baking so that’s an added bonus 🙂

    • Thank you, Cyn! I used to have big parties before but that was when I had my whole family here! I wish I could digital scrap more… 🙁

  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!!! Waahh! I can’t believe I missed this post when it went live but admittedly I’m stuck in a writerly corner of my mind at the moment. BUT this is such big news! I hope you celebrated well!

Digital scrapbooks are so cute. It’s a shame I’m so lazy.

P.S. I did your quiz and got 80% (what do you mean you’re actually *not* a fairy godmother?!) and I feel so proud of myself right now.

    • awww thanks Annika!!! OMG you got 80%?! Eeeeepp BFFs! LOL I have been a fairy godmother in my previous life tho…

Soooo as your punishment, you will need to send me your draft!!! and then we celebrate with drinks!

    • OMG! CAKE! Obvs one of my favorites!! ehemmm… I only splurge on cakes when I visit my hometown…2 years ago, I had Hunger Games themed Cupcakes!

I don’t celebrate my birthday any more, because I would rather forget that I had one. But my husband always takes me out to dinner anyway.

    • aww that’s sweet Anita! I think I’m still a kid at heart and love being “spoiled” or bratty on my birthday! 🙂

    • That’s the best Nicole! I realized that when I moved and it has only been me, my husband, and my mom… so def visiting my hometown where most of my family live is the best way to celebrate!

I don’t really celebrate my birthday. I may buy/make myself a treat for dessert though.
