I decided to do a different take on this theme. I wanted to show characters that are my picks for book boyfriend AND I also wanted to show characters that are my picks for who I would love to hang out with.

Christopher Argent
The Hunter by Kerrigan Byrne

Well, who doesn’t want to have their own personal assassin as their book boyfriend? I DO! One thing that really struck me was Argent’s backstory and I absolutely feel for him. He is super sensitive and yes, perfect to be your book BF.

Lord Darcy
Lady Bridget’s Diary by Maya Rodale

So, even if Looood Darcy is a super stick in the mud, I think he would be the perfect book BF for me. I am a little bit outgoing so I think Lord Darcy will be the perfect guy to reign me in!

Jake Keller
Listen to Me by Kristen Proby

Jake Keller used to be a famous musician and was in a band but one incident in his life changed everything. Now, he plays (on Friday nights?) at an up and coming restaurant. Anyway, I thought that he would be the perfect book BF because he kinda reminds me Pierre. Ehemm. Hubby is not famous or anything but he does play the guitar and Jake’s personality reminds me of him. *wink*

Knox Callaghan
All Chained Up by Sophie Jordan

Knox Callaghan is the ultimate bad boy and he reminds me of Pierre (again).

Carswell Thorne
Stars Above by Marissa Meyer

I absolutely LOVE Thorne and I’m a little sad that The Lunar Chronicles ended (well, Wires and Nerves will have the TLC characters visit, so that is a relief). But I am super happy that Thorne still had his charm in the two novellas he appears in, in Stars Above. Thorne also reminds me of Han Solo and I absolutely LOVE HAN SOLO!

Lady Bridget Cavendish
Lady Bridget’s Diary by Maya Rodale

One of the reasons I am picking Lady Bridget as my BFF is because she loves cake! I love cake, so I think this is the perfect match! I also love that she has a diary and I used to have a diary. I definitely think that we would have tons to talk about together. I picture a lot of sleepovers with her.

Inej Ghafa
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

Although I love Nina, I think Inej would be the perfect BFF!

Audrey Rose Wadsworth
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

I love gothic and what better way to indulge my love for gothic than Audrey Rose. She is the perfect Victorian goth that I think would be perfect as a BFF. I think both of us would totally hang out at a graveyard.

The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury

Who doesn’t want to have a genie as a BFF? Magic aside, Zahra would be so much fun to hang out with! I imagine us doing a lot of travel and basically hanging out at the beach!

Marguerite Caine
A Million Worlds with You by Claudia Gray

Marguerite really grew on me. She is an artist so I think she would be the perfect BFF to go shopping with at a craft store!

Who will you pick for your book BF and book GF?
