Bookish updates in the last 2 weeks
How has everyone been? I was extremely busy last week and have been coming home at around 7 almost every night that I didn’t have the energy to blog! Reading has gone down the drain, but I managed to finish a couple of books!
We also saw Sonic the Hedgehog yesterday and I thought it was okay. Sonic looked well animated, though. I think pushing back the release date and reanimating Sonic worked well for them!
I also finished reading Chasing Cassandra last week and it was good! Not as much as I hoped it would be, though!

Sonic looks fun! And yes sometimes it is hard to read to read when you come home tired! My reading has been down for two months lol but it’s sorta picking up now…

I am sorry to hear you had such a tiring long week darling. I haven’t watched Sonic, not sure I want to since I have heard mixed reviews. But who knows? I have a lot of movie passes to use so maybe. I hope you enjoy Uncivilized, its a crazy book but really good. Fun Tarzan retelling. I am sorry to hear that Chasing Cassandra wasn’t everything you hoped for, I actually loved it, my second fav of the series surprisingly. But hope the next one is a better turn out for you.

I’m sorry to hear you had such a crazy week! I hope this week is more relaxing! I just finished Lord of Scoundrels a few days ago and I absolutely ADORED it! I’m so happy that I’ve started reading historical romances again! I’ve found such great gems.

How was it? I haven’t actually read Loretta Chase before!!!! I think I should go and listen to the audio for Lord of Scoundrels!
It was amazing! It had everything I love in romance! And the characters were so fleshed out and dimensional! I gave it 5 stars which I rarely do with romance! I definitely hope you check it out!
