Skinny Reviews: Killer Instincts Series by Elle Kennedy

Midnight Rescue is the first romantic suspense book that I read in perhaps the longest time. I wasn’t sure how I would like this but I was surprised that I did! Midnight Rescue features a very strong heroine, who is an assassin and she also had a lot of baggage! The central plot is a rescue. I actually enjoyed the thrill and the backdrop of the Columbian drug cartel. The romance still has a lot to be said but I liked the chemistry between Abby and Kane. Just NO!   This was my last post when I DNF’d Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews.  I had such high hopes for this book (and this series) because of the good reviews I read on GR.  But apparently, the story just didn’t work for […]
