Books On My TBR I HOPE Will Be 5-Star Reads

Top Three Tuesday is my spin on Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Happy Tuesday, Wormies! I’m picking three books on my highly anticipating shelf that I HOPE will be a 5-Star read! Hopefully, this post won’t jinx it!

Unfortunately, I already read one book that was a disappointment! It really sucks because I had high hopes for that book (Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey).

I also shared my highly anticipated reads for 2020 last year!

Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas
Why I Think it’s Going to be a 5-Star Read

The Ravenels series is SPECTACULAR! Plus, it’s Cassandra and Severin’s book!

Lisa Kleypas is a master in writing self-made heroes so I have extremely high hopes for this book.

The Ravenels is also a spin-off of my favorite Wallflowers series and I have rated the books in this series a 4 or a 5-star!

The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez
Why I Think it’s Going to be a 5-Star Read

After reading The Friend Zone last year, I have been waiting to read this book! Abby Jimenez has a way with writing that is light-hearted but still deals with tough issues.

We already know what happens to the heroine in this book and I really can’t wait for Sloane to get her own HEA!

Empire of Gold by S.A. Chakraborty
Why I Think it’s Going to be a 5-Star Read

You guys, this is the last book in the Daevabad Trilogy and the last book The Kingdom of Copper ended in an EPIC cliffhanger!

I can’t wait to find out how this series will end! Books 1 and 2 ended u being on my favorite reads last year!

  1. Even though I know so many people love her books, I think I’ve only read one Lisa Kleypas book! I should definitely read more of her work! I don’t have that many super anticipated releases for 2020, mostly because I haven’t done that much research on what books are coming out this year! I definitely need to start looking into it, because I’m sure I’ll find so many books to look forward to!

    • LOL SAME! I don’t really do research and only do it when I’m writing a review and looking for books in the series or write posts like this – in which case, I discover more books to add LOL

  2. Sharlene Wegner

Chasing Cassandra, of course! I won Once Upon a Sunset on GR, so I have to get to that one, soon. I am looking forward to Tessa Dare’s The Bride Bet, Recipe for Persuasion by Sonali Dev, Loud Mouth by Avery Flynn, Say Yes to the Duke by Eloisa James, Dance Away With Me by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Well Played by Jen Deluca.

    • Yes it is! It’s really along the veins of women’s fiction with romantic themes, but not a straight-up romance. I’m soooo excited!
