THUNDER IN MY SOUL
HEAVY ON MY HEART
YOU WERE MY PERFECT STORMMy world stopped turning six years ago. My best friend. My best girl. A burning field in the pouring rain. I survived, but I left the biggest part of me with them. And now I sift through the rubble of my broken life.
I didn’t want a second chance. Redemption. Closure. Not for me.
Until Gelsey. A dancer. A dreamer. Everything I’m not. She’s the light to my dark. The sun from another sky.
But sunny days never last. The storm is coming. And this time when darkness falls, I might surrender.
Another Sky is a standalone rock star romance. Warning: This book deals with depression.

Another Sky by Jayne Frost surprised me in a lot of ways. I was not expecting this book at all. It’s an amazingly written book about struggle, depression, and dealing with loss. I was reading part of this book on the plane and I was brought to tears! You should definitely have tissues ready for this book!
In Another Sky, both the hero and heroine are damaged – but both are also at a different place. Gelsey and Miles are two totally different people but they are perfect for each other.
I love how this book deals with pain, depression, and coping with loss. Everyone copes differently and I love how Frost tackles a different reaction with both of the main characters.
While Another Sky is not listed under a series, we see a few characters from the Sixth Street Bands series. I read Down to You last year and I absolutely loved it.
There are trigger warnings here about depression, pain, and dealing with death, though. But I highly recommend this book to everyone! It is also easy to pick up this book without reading the books in the Sixth Street Bands series.
