I am very ecstatic to learn that I have read 42/60 books so far this year!  Amazingly, I have also read 10 books that I rated 5 hearts!  Amazing books that I can’t seem to get over!  Here’s my top 10 (not in order)

mid2014-top ten

*click on links for my review*

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green – What more is there to say but be amazed by this awesome book?  I love that it wasn’t about cancer at all, despite both characters having cancer.

Beauty and the Earl by Jess Michaels – The last book in The Pleasure Wars series brings together two unlikely pairs.  I love this book because I wanted Liam to get his own HEA!

The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd – I love this YA retelling of The Island of Dr. Moreau!  Creepy and amazing!

Nine Rules to Break when Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean – Because I love her name: CALPURNIA!  An amazing book!  Sarah MacLean has stolen my heart!

Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare – Although I liked Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince was better!  Love, betrayal, secrets are revealed.  Well, partly revealed!

A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean – I stopped reading this for some reason a few years ago but read it again and I was blown away!

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner – What?!  How can I love this book?  Yes, I do.  Really.  Unique and enthralling.  Love the surprises revealed in the end.

One More, My Darling Rogue by Lorraine Heath – I got this ARC at Night Owl Reviews and am totally in love with the book.  It helps that I love Drake Darling! (no review yet)

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare -The revelations.  The romance.  The closure.  The Infernal devices will not stop coming.

Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd – THIS!  I love the seamless way the series continues and using another retelling of the classic tale The Curious Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. (no review yet)
