Happy Hearts day, Wormies! How are you spending your day today? With a hot date? Watching a movie? Or Curling up with a good book?
I’m going for Curling up with a good book since Pierre is still in the Gulf of Mexico working. He will be back next week, though so we will have our usual movie date nights then.
I decided to pick one of my favorite tropes for today’s topic: friends to lovers! There is just something sweet about romances that start with friendship. Like ours did, so I guess, that’s why I have a soft spot for this trope. I also decided to pick Historical Romance since I have been reading QUITE A NUMBER of historical romances this last couple of months!

Do you love the friends to lovers trope? Do you have any books that you want to add to this list?
oh I just adore this trope as well, and you listed so many good ones. I loved The Ugly Duchess and Seduce Me At Sunrise.

The Ugly Duchess is so-so for me. But Seduce Me at Sunrise is sooo sweet!
I have not read any of these, but I DO like the trope of friends to lovers most of the time. 🙂 It’s nice that they know each other so well already, you know?

Yes! I totally agree, Lauren! I also love the sibling best friend trope! 😀
I love friends to lovers, so this list is perfect for me! I’ve read the Kleypas, MacLean, Dare and Heath ones from your list and I adore them. Eloisa James is an author I need to make more of an effort to pick up.

I know. Eloisa James is actually a hit and miss for me. But I definitely LOVE Kleypas, Dare and MacLean!
