Skilled, sculpted, and sexy, the men of adult entertainment are the kind of guys a woman reserves for her fantasies, not her reality. But is there more to these professional hotties than meets the eye?

The day Robyn Flores meets Zac Fallon is one of those days. You know, when you're already late for work. Mostly because you haven't really slept since your best friend abandoned you for her fiance and her exponentially better life. The kind of day you drag yourself to the cleaners to pick up your laundry, only to discover you've got the wrong bag--Star Spangled sequined thong, anyone? So Robyn is definitely not ready for the ridiculously gorgeous guy at her front door, except that they have each other's clothes. But then, is any woman ever ready to meet the love of her life?

There's just one problem: Zac Fallon is not the love of Robyn's life. Zac knows, despite the all-too-intimate dinner they share, he doesn't have a shot at her. Because the next time Zac sees Robyn, he's front and center of the male revue headlining her best friend's bachelorette party. So much for wooing the pretty schoolteacher, much less her impressing her old-fashioned family, with his upstanding lifestyle. Now he's only got one way to win his dream girl. It's gonna be the steamiest, most irresistible seduction she's ever seen. And this time it will be no act . . .

My Thoughts

As someone who hasn’t seen Magic Mike at all, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy reading Stripped. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Of course, this book features an opposites attract romance!

Stripped was enjoyable on audio, by the way! And I love that it was written in dual POV! Also, did I mention that I absolutely love the heroine, Robyn?! I think she was the best part of this book, by the way, because I could totally relate to her. Not that Fallon wasn’t good, but his insecurities touched my cynical heart as well.

One of the best scenes will probably be the first opening scene, where Fallon and Robyn switched laundry and Robyn opened Fallon’s laundry! It was quite funny, really. And it was also an awesome

One of the things that I had a little problem with Stripped is actually from the blurb. I thought that Robyn’s family would have played a huge role with Fallon not being the one for her. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out that way. All the issues about inappropriateness was all in Fallon’s head. While that isn’t wrong, I thought that her family and friends would have played a huge impact on their relationship.

There is one villain in this book but I really didn’t understand what his purpose was? I’m not really sure why he was even there in the first place. Only that this villain was super creepy. And he was a principal to boot!

Ultimately, what sold me on this book is the romance between Robyn and Fallon! It was swoony and hot and sweet.

I listened to the audiobook for this one even though I won a copy of this book from Under the Covers Book Blog and the publisher, Kensington. The audiobook was amazing! Since Stripped is in dual POV, it’s also read by a male and female narrator. Both narrators use awesome voices for the characters and I love that Jacob Morgan does not use the high squeaky voice for a female character. The pacing and tones are perfect and not annoying.

This is the first book that I read by Zoey Castile and it won’t be my last. Hired, book 2 in the Happy Endings series is also interesting and I can’t wait to read it!
