Last month’s deets on I Heart Romance & YA

Happy new month, Wormies! I am now starting to read more books! On the downside, I haven’t been reading a lot of YA though. For now, there are just too many historical romances that I want to read releasing in the next couple of months, so I am putting YA on the shelf for now. But with my mercurial moods, who knows?

Also, I have been playing around with alcohol markers and I actually bought the Throne of Glass coloring book! I have still to finish the whole page, but this is what I have done so far.

Take a look at how I did this month! I am currently 11 books ahead of schedule and we have barely reached half of the year! To date, I have read 51 books! Yup! I already passed the 50% mark a few days before June!

I am still failing at the Flights of Fantasy, though. If only the Throne of Glass coloring book can be included in this challenge! LOL

I can’t believe how much I thoroughly enjoyed An Affair with a Notorious Heiress! In fact, I reread In Bed with the Devil and I even I upped my rating because I enjoyed it so much after this reread!

It’s finally HERE!! I have already heard a few non-spoiler reviews saying that this is such an awesome female led film, so I am SUPER excited to see Wonder Woman!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was fun and actually had me rewatching Captain America: The First Avenger and a few episodes of the first season of Agent Carter.

And because I just couldn’t stop myself, I binge-watched quite a number of shows on ID. I know, it’s sick but I can’t NOT watch it!

It’s quite obvious that I have been reading more historical romances this year. Not that I am avoiding YA but it doesn’t seem like there are titles that catch my attention. Weird.

So, what have you been reading lately?

  1. That coloring page is gorgeous! Awesome markers. 51 books total, that’s so awesome! I’m doing pretty well on my two main challenges but failing hard at Rock My TBR aka reading books I’ve own for a year or more lol. I’m sooooo excited for Wonder Woman!!! Seeing it tomorrow night! Ahh Cap is my fave, how fun 🙂 I need to watch Agent Carter, I own the first season on dvd. I think it’s good that you’re reading what you want; reading stays fun that way.

    • Definitely, Morgan! I totally suck at reading books that I own for over a year. Which is why I didn’t join that challenge! hahaha

Agent Carter is good, but it’s pretty much like the other ABC series, I stopped at about episode 6 or 7 though.. it’s not the same without Cap!

And thank you for your wonderful thoughts on the coloring book page 🙂

  2. You did such a good job on that coloring book! Also, I can’t wait for Wonder Woman! ANDAND you watch the ID channel!? So do I! I’ve been watching way too much of it lately. Did you watch the Who Killed Angie Dodge? special?

    • Yeah! OMG that channel is so addictive! Sometimes I switch to OWN and watch Snapped or MSNBC to watch American Greed! Super addictive shows! Nope, I haven’t seen that special yet! I’m pretty sure I will be seeing that soon!

And thanks for your kind thoughts on the coloring book 🙂

  3. oh I love your coloring page!!! So gorgeous. And Coloring is so fun, glad your enjoying using something different and new. I am just getting out of my slump as well. And there is a lot of HR coming out, so I imagine I will be reading a ton of those as well. I love that you LOVED Lorraine Heath’s new book. I need to catch up, since I have only read book one. But I do love that this one connects to her Scoundrels of St. James series. Since that is a fun series to read. Hope June is a wonderful month for you.

The cover for your favorite book An Affair with a Notorious Heiress! is gorgeous (I’m more than partial to purple). I can’t wait to see Wonder Woman this summer. She sure has changed from Linda Carter’s character and for the better.
