Hot Damn! Crossing the Line Series by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Hot Damn! Crossing the Line Series by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Hot damn, the Crossing the Line series was awesome overall! I actually binge-listened this series (not in order, mind you) and it was good. Overall, I gave this series 4/5 hearts, but each individual book has a rating range of 3-4 hearts. The Crossing the Line series has a 60-40 balance between suspense and romance, where romance gets the largest chunk of each of the books. This is exactly what I love! I do wish there was more action in the books, though. Also, I love the all the female heroes are unique in their own way, kick-ass and have baggage! It’s refreshing […]

I received this book for free from Inkslinger Book Tours in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   Holy hotness! I just finished reading Nobody Does it Better by Lexi Blake and OMG! How shockingly delicious is it?! This is the first book I read by Lexi Blake and I found out that this is the FIFTEENTH book in her Masters and Mercenaries Series my jaw basically dropped. This means I have to read the other 14 books, plus the various novellas? Also, How cheeky are the titles of […]

The Stakes are Higher! Midnight Target by Elle Kennedy Book Review

The Stakes are Higher! Midnight Target by Elle Kennedy Book Review

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. Mightnight Target is one of my most anticipated books this year and I am torn! I’m not sure if two romances CAN share a book at all. And yeah, this book has TWO of the romances that fans of this series have been waiting for. In my opinion, though, the two romances are TOO BIG for this ONE book! Let me explain. This book is about Jim’s daughter, Cate who he rescued in Midnight Action (Jim and Noelle’s HEA) and the rookie, Ash. I felt the chemistry […]

Skinny Reviews: Killer Instincts Series by Elle Kennedy

Skinny Reviews: Killer Instincts Series by Elle Kennedy

Midnight Rescue is the first romantic suspense book that I read in perhaps the longest time. I wasn’t sure how I would like this but I was surprised that I did! Midnight Rescue features a very strong heroine, who is an assassin and she also had a lot of baggage! The central plot is a rescue. I actually enjoyed the thrill and the backdrop of the Columbian drug cartel. The romance still has a lot to be said but I liked the chemistry between Abby and Kane. It wasn’t one of my favorites but there were two characters that intrigued me: Trevor and […]
