Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff | Book & Audiobook Review

MY THOUGHTS Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Review At a Glance. I have to really honest about this book, Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff and admit that it took me a while to finish reading it.  And as much as I loved it, and was blown away by it, I still had a hard time getting into the book.  In fact, this is the first book that I read in this format because I thought, hey, I wouldn’t be interested in reading a book in email or chat form. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins | Audiobook Review

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins | Audiobook Review

My Thoughts “Let the 75th Hunger Games begin!” There is a lot to say about Catching Fire that I do not know where to begin.  This book is a precursor of the things to come in the next book, Mockingjay and it also lays the groundwork for the rebellion. I could not stop listening to this book.  Not only is it amazingly written, I get to know all the characters more.  Katniss, Peeta, Gayle and Haymitch all reveal their characters here.  I also love the little hints sprinkled throughout the first part of the book, giving us a hint of what […]

The times that Edward was watching Bella while sleeping without her knowing really creeped me out. I thought it wasn’t very romantic (although some might view it as romantic) and it felt stalker-ish. Next, I hated that these breed of vampires glittered in the sunlight. This really re-wrote the vampire lore […]
