I don’t want this series to end! All Roads Lead to You by Jennifer Probst [ARC Review]

I don’t want this series to end! All Roads Lead to You by Jennifer Probst [ARC Review]

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I’ve really enjoyed the Stay series by Jennifer Probst and All Roads Lead to You just hit me in the feels for multiple reasons! We’ve met Harper Bishop in the first book The Start of Something New and I’ve really been intrigued by her. She is the youngest sister in the Bishop family, and she is a veterinarian. And what I really love most about the Stay series are the animals! Hei Hei […]

Insta-lust? The Lying Hours by Sara Ney [ARC Review]

Insta-lust? The Lying Hours by Sara Ney [ARC Review]

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   I can’t tell you how much I LOVE the Douchebag series! I’ve only read the first two books, but the characters have captured my heart! I was really excited to find out that there will be a 5th Douchebag book and I could not wait to read it! I probably shouldn’t have gotten my hopes up to much because I kinda feel so-so about Abe and Sky’s book The Lying Hours. Not […]

Sexy & Fun! Stripped by Zoey Castile [Audiobook Review]

Sexy & Fun! Stripped by Zoey Castile [Audiobook Review]

As someone who hasn’t seen Magic Mike at all, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy reading Stripped. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Of course, this book features an opposites attract romance! Stripped was enjoyable on audio, by the way! And I love that it was written in dual POV! Also, did I mention that I absolutely love the heroine, Robyn?! I think she was the best part of this book, by the way, because I could totally relate to her. Not that Fallon wasn’t good, but his insecurities touched my cynical heart as well. One of the best scenes will probably be […]

Steamy, Sporty, & LOL! Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey [Audiobook Review]

Steamy, Sporty, & LOL! Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey [Audiobook Review]

I’ve been looking for soccer themed romance books to read and a lot of romance readers recommended Scoring Wilder. This book was a fun and sexy sports romance read with a touch of the forbidden! If you don’t know already, Pierre watches Premier League Mornings (this is a top-level English football league system), he’s also watching the Philippine Team Azkals compete in the Asian Cup (our first year to qualify), so this theme is so on point! Anyway, what I do love about Scoring Wilder is Kinsley and Becca’s friendship! Man, these two were snarky and fun and basically, I […]

Funny & Snarky! He Kissed Me First by Sara Ney [Audiobook Review]

Funny & Snarky! He Kissed Me First by Sara Ney [Audiobook Review]

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. He Kissed Me First is my very first Sara Ney and this definitely won’t be my last. He Kissed Me First is funny and snarky and OMG the banter was epic! It’s no secret that I love the best friend’s brother trope and He Kissed Me First has this trope and the enemies-to-lovers romance! So, here we have […]

Enemies to Lovers with a dash of the Forbidden! Hot Asset by Lauren Layne [Book Review]

Enemies to Lovers with a dash of the Forbidden! Hot Asset by Lauren Layne [Book Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   Hot Asset is my first Lauren Layne book and I won’t be my last! I actually read the second book Hard Sell already and it was also as good! I am such a fan of the forbidden romance trope and the thought of a Wall Street Investor and an SEC investigator would be an awesome pair? And would this even be possible?! One of my guilty pleasures is watching the docu-series on MSNBC American Greed so I’m pretty familiar with how this thing goes. […]

Awesome Chemistry! Betting on Him by Kelly Collins [ARC Review + Excerpt]

Awesome Chemistry! Betting on Him by Kelly Collins [ARC Review + Excerpt]

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Don’t want to read the excerpt?  Click to jump to the Review? “Is there anything else I can get you ladies right now?” “A stripper,” said the tall blonde in the corner. I knew she was tall because even seated, her head was six inches above everyone else. “There are a lot of all male reviews on the strip,” I offered the women sitting around the half-moon booth. They were all pretty in […]

A Charming Second Chance Romance | The Charm of You by Jennifer Probst [ARC Review]

A Charming Second Chance Romance | The Charm of You by Jennifer Probst [ARC Review]

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   The Charm of You was a charming second chance romance (pun intended). And yes, I was pretty charmed by the whole romance! For some reason, the overweight girl gets her revenge when she loses all the weight. While I’m totally against this trope (I am SUPER triggered, people), in The Charm of You, it is done really […]

Curvy Girls for the WIN! It Had To Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips [Audiobook Review]

Curvy Girls for the WIN! It Had To Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   It Had To Be You is my very first SEP book and I fell in love with it! This book was published in 1994 and that is really important to note because it affects your understanding of the book. I’m what you call someone who grew up in a time prior to the internet boom, so I know what it was like prior to that. So yeah. This book has a little bit of a nostalgia factor. No cell phones! Car phones?! No social […]
