You will Laugh, You will Cry! This book is EVERYTHING! Melt for You by J.T. Geissinger [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   I love my online book club! Through this book club, I found a lot of new to me authors that I absolutely loved! Once such book is Melt for You by J.T. Geissigner. I’ve never heard or read this author before and I was NOT disappointed! Melt for You turned out to be a 5-star read and I literally could not stop listening to it! I was laughing out loud and crying (sometimes at the same time)! Yes, it was THAT good! I normally […]

Cry Your Eyes Out! Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry [Audiobook Review]

Cry Your Eyes Out! Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   I’m not really into reading YA Contemporary Romance because it’s YA and I normally get frustrated by high school antics (I mean, not like I wasn’t a teenager back then). Sometimes, I can’t help but keep rolling my eyes. Pushing the Limits surprised me in a good way! This book is everything I thought a YA book isn’t – real and emotional and deals with adult themes. The Characters I love how these two broken characters met and fell in love. Echo has been hurt by […]

Courage, Love, & All the Feels! The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen [Audiobook Review]

Courage, Love, & All the Feels! The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. I didn’t know what to expect when I read The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen. To say that I was surprised is putting it mildly. The Year We Fell Down is everything I want in a romance and more. I wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I did. The Year We Fell Down is really a book of courage, how to overcome the things real life has handed to you. I love Corey and Adam. But really, what made this […]

Sweet and Charming and the Feels! Part-Time Lover by Lauren Blakely Audiobook Review + Giveaway

I received this book for free from the author via Audible in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. Well, well, well. Part-Time Lover was a charming surprise! Let me preface this review by saying that I LOVED Wanderlust so much that this book did not meet my expectations. Also, this book is one of my highly anticipated books this year! But since I read Wanderlust first, I was a tad bit disappointed. We meet Elise in Wanderlust. She is […]

Hot Damn! Crossing the Line Series by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Hot Damn! Crossing the Line Series by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Hot damn, the Crossing the Line series was awesome overall! I actually binge-listened this series (not in order, mind you) and it was good. Overall, I gave this series 4/5 hearts, but each individual book has a rating range of 3-4 hearts. The Crossing the Line series has a 60-40 balance between suspense and romance, where romance gets the largest chunk of each of the books. This is exactly what I love! I do wish there was more action in the books, though. Also, I love all the female heroes are unique in their own way, kick-ass and have baggage! It’s refreshing since […]

Music & Romance | Roomies by Christina Lauren [Audiobook Review]

Music & Romance | Roomies by Christina Lauren [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. I wasn’t expecting much from Roomies. To be honest, based on the first couple of chapters that I read last year, it didn’t feel like the usual Christina Lauren book that I expected. Fast-forward to last month and I was broken! I picked up the audiobook last month and I was able to get through the first few chapters! Before I knew it, I was hooked, even though Roomies read like women’s fiction than a contemporary romance. Not that there is anything wrong with women’s fiction, it’s just […]

There’s an adorable dog! Plus an alpha male and sexy times! Follow by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. If you have been stalking me on social media, you will know that Follow is the first book that started my Tessa Bailey binge in the last couple of months. Why? Because Tessa Bailey is AMAZING! Follow took me by surprise. I actually picked this book up when it was recommended in one of my book club groups and I immediately went to check the library if it was available. It was! And I didn’t regret my decision. What I love about Follow is that this features a heroine who is not […]

I was Left Speechless! Wanderlust by Lauren Blakely [Audiobook Review]

I was Left Speechless! Wanderlust by Lauren Blakely [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. Sometimes there is a book that transports you to a different place. Sometimes there is a book that will make you believe in fate and love and forever. Wanderlust is that book. This is perhaps the first book that made me feel that I was in Paris. WOW. I am without words. Joy and Griffin’s slow burn romance caught me by surprise and it felt so real. I selected Waderlust by Lauren Blakely because I was curious about the narrator. This book is narrated by Grace […]

Overly Hyped. Epic Fail. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata [Audiobook Review]

Overly Hyped. Epic Fail. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. Multiple people from my book club recommended that I read The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata because of the awesome slow burn romance. Unfortunately, this book wasn’t for me and it ended up as a DNF for me. Now let me explain, I am one of those readers who DNF books quickly, but I did TRY my damned best to finish this book and gave it chance after chance. Until ultimately, I finally had to stop torturing myself and end it at 72%. […]
