We Seriously Need a Clown in Our Life! Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey [ARC Review]

We Seriously Need a Clown in Our Life! Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey [ARC Review]

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   I’m kicking myself for not starting Fix Her Up right away because this book is absolutely glorious! Picture a birthday clown heroine and a retired baseball player with a touch of hate-to-love and you have this AMAZING book! I have to tell you that I had second thoughts mainly because of the cover. The cover screams women’s fiction or at least something that isn’t too steamy. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised that this book has the […]

Insta-Love at it’s Worst! Mouth to Mouth by Tessa Bailey [Book Review]

Insta-Love at it’s Worst! Mouth to Mouth by Tessa Bailey [Book Review]

Mouth to Mouth surprisingly dropped without any notice last year and I was shocked! I did not expect this book at all and I hurriedly purchased it when it came out. Man, was I thoroughly disappointed! I have been reading a lot of Tessa Bailey books for a while and I have enjoyed the majority of the books I read by her, so I had high hopes of the book going in. A few of my romance bookstagram friends who received an ARC for the book were singing their praises for this book, so yeah, I was definitely going […]

I Want to Runaway with You! Runaway Girl by Tessa Bailey [ARC Review]

I Want to Runaway with You! Runaway Girl by Tessa Bailey [ARC Review]

I received this book for free from the Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   After the amazingness that was Getaway Girl, I had a lot of expectations with Runaway Girl. Let’s just say that Tessa Bailey delivered! I was honestly waiting to hate Naomi. Based on what little we knew about her from the first book, I thought that I couldn’t relate with her at all – but […]

Scandalous, Funny & Oh, So Sweet! Getaway Girl by Tessa Bailey [Book Review]

Scandalous, Funny & Oh, So Sweet! Getaway Girl by Tessa Bailey [Book Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. It took me a while to finally read my copy of Getaway Girl and I am kicking myself for it! Getaway Girl is full of Tessa Bailey’s signature wit, banter, sexiness, and dirty-talking heroes! In this case, the heroine has the devilish streak. Addison returns home to Charleston to settle her grandmother’s property and business. Before she leaves, she attends her cousin’s wedding – where her cousin doesn’t show up and she ends up helping the almost groom escape! Who would have thought that this escape […]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review.   Captivated is one of my most anticipated releases this year and I was not disappointed! I love this kinky Beauty and the Beast retelling featuring a gentle giant and dark fantasies! Captivated is about an Aussie named Autumn who dumped her boyfriend who cheated on her. After she mistakenly hands her landlord a naughty/kinky cartoon she drew of her and hi, they decide on a proposition. Her landlord, Blake, has been attracted to Autumn since he first saw her and he sees this as his chance […]

Hot Damn! Crossing the Line Series by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Hot Damn! Crossing the Line Series by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Hot damn, the Crossing the Line series was awesome overall! I actually binge-listened this series (not in order, mind you) and it was good. Overall, I gave this series 4/5 hearts, but each individual book has a rating range of 3-4 hearts. The Crossing the Line series has a 60-40 balance between suspense and romance, where romance gets the largest chunk of each of the books. This is exactly what I love! I do wish there was more action in the books, though. Also, I love all the female heroes are unique in their own way, kick-ass and have baggage! It’s refreshing since […]

There’s an adorable dog! Plus an alpha male and sexy times! Follow by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

There’s an adorable dog! Plus an alpha male and sexy times! Follow by Tessa Bailey [Audiobook Review]

Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump to the Skinny Review. If you have been stalking me on social media, you will know that Follow is the first book that started my Tessa Bailey binge in the last couple of months. Why? Because Tessa Bailey is AMAZING! Follow took me by surprise. I actually picked this book up when it was recommended in one of my book club groups and I immediately went to check the library if it was available. It was! And I didn’t regret my decision. What I love about Follow is that this features a heroine who is not […]

What a Surprising Christmas Romance! Crashed Out by Tessa Bailey [Book Review]

What a Surprising Christmas Romance! Crashed Out by Tessa Bailey [Book Review]

I received this book for free from the Publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Wow, just WOW! Crashed Out turned out to be such a surprise! This is the fourth Tessa Bailey book that I read and it surprised me – it was so good! I am a sucker for unrequited romance and this one was perfect! Also, the heroine, Jasmine, is also older than the hero, Sarge. Oh, and did I mention that she used to babysit him? I know, I know, the […]

Indecent Exposure by Tessa Bailey | DNF Review

Indecent Exposure by Tessa Bailey | DNF Review

I received this book for free from the Publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. When I read Disorderly Conduct, the first book in the series, I was delightfully surprised! In fact, I went ahead and requested the second book, Indecent Exposure because Jack Garrett was very interesting and what do you know, the second book is his HEA. But no! This book was an utter disappointment! Where was the charm? Where was the explosive chemistry that I was expecting? Gone. Nada. Zilch. Also, […]
