We Found Love Right Where We Are | Hell Breaks Loose by Sophie Jordan | Book Review + Blog Tour

We Found Love Right Where We Are | Hell Breaks Loose by Sophie Jordan | Book Review + Blog Tour

I received this book for free from the Publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.   I thought I would show TWO inspirations!  A before and after set: one for when Grace was a proper First Daughter and the other when Grace decided to follow her dreams! The Prim & Proper set is elegant and simple.  I see Grace rocking these outfits while campaigning for her father, the President.  I picked simple and neutral colors for this set. Now, this set is inspired by […]

A Sizzling Romance with a Bad Boy | All Chained Up by Sophie Jordan | Audiobook Review

A Sizzling Romance with a Bad Boy | All Chained Up by Sophie Jordan | Audiobook Review

I thought this was a great way to start my review, by sharing my clothing inspiration based on All Chained Up!  There is also a specific scene where I got this inspiration from, the Fourth of July (I can’t remember which holiday precisely) barbecue Briar’s sister had AND where Knox was not precisely invited.  Needless to say that the party did not end well.  Anyway, I am predicting future barbecues where Knox IS invited and I am envisioning Briar to be wearing a fun sundress with sandals!  What do you think? Don’t want to read the whole review?  Click to jump […]

An Heiress For All Seasons by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

An Heiress For All Seasons by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

I received this book for free from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. MY THOUGHTS An Heiress for All Seasons is a novella based on the Debutante Files by Sophie Jordan.  This story follows shortly after A Good Debutante’s Guide to Ruin (4/5 Hearts) and is about Will, the Earl of Merlton (Declan’s cousin) and American heiress Violet Howard as they find love during the Christmas holidays.  Violet and her mother are invited to the Earl of Merlton’s estate in the hopes of making a match.  Violet, on […]

Uninvited by Sophie Jordan | Audiobook Review

Uninvited by Sophie Jordan | Audiobook Review

MY THOUGHTS “Interesting enough” Uninvited is the new YA Sci-Fi/Dystopian series by Sophie Jordan with similarities to the movie Minority Report with Tom Cruise.  Except with teens.  And hormones.  And spoiled brats?  Anway, I was interested in the premise – a futuristic society governed by a company that had coerced convinced the government that they are able to isolate the HTS (Homicidal Tendency Syndrome) gene, identify the individuals carrying that gene and stopping them even before they commit the actual act.  Interesting, right?  Well, I thought it was a little bit interesting at first but then it started to become a […]

Wild by Sophie Jordan Tour + Giveaway

Wild by Sophie Jordan Tour + Giveaway

Sophie Jordan is one author that I have read in multiple genres.  From her historical romances, young adult and now, new adult, I have enjoyed the diversity of this author. Wild, is the last book in the Ivy Chronicles series and is the first NA book that I read by Ms. Jordan.  I was actually blown away by how sizzling this book really is!  It also features a younger, more experienced hero.  Delish!  Want to know more about what I think?  Read my review here! Excerpt   “I gotta go,” I said hurriedly, turning to walk around the Jeep, ready […]

Tease by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

Tease by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

My Thoughts Tease by Sophie Jordan is the second book in The Ivy Chronicles series (Foreplay #1, Wild #3) and is my favorite of the three.  The heroine in this book is Emerson, the tease/flirt/party girl who acts like she doesn’t have a care in the world.  However, she hides a deep dark secret that she has kept from her closest friends. While at a biker bar, Emerson gets uber drunk and starts a brawl causing her so-called friends to abandon her.  She gets rescued by our hero, Shaw who also has a chip on his shoulder.  He is an […]

Foreplay by Sophie Jordan [Book Review]

Foreplay by Sophie Jordan [Book Review]

My Thoughts I was really surprised that I enjoyed Wild (Ivy Chronicles #3) by Sophie Jordan.  So much so that I read the whole series!  I really loved the story of the three best friends: Pepper, Emerson, and Georgia! Foreplay focuses on Pepper’s love story to bartender/owner Reece.  When shy Pepper finds out that the love of her life, her best friend’s brother breaks up with his serious girlfriend, she sees it as a sign!  She has been in love with Hunter since she was in high school and now wants him all to herself.  But wait!  She has no experience in […]

Wild by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

Wild by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

My Thoughts Wild by Sophie Jordan is the third book in The Ivy Chronicles series. This is the first book in the series that I read and can be read as a stand-alone. Characters from the previous two books pop in and out all throughout the book but they do not add to any confusion if you haven’t read the other books. I initially read this book because I was interested about the plot. Who doesn’t want to read about a good girl paired with a bad boy? I also do not read a lot of contemporary romance and surprisingly, […]

A Good Debutante’s Guide to Ruin by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

A Good Debutante’s Guide to Ruin by Sophie Jordan | Book Review

My Thoughts A Good Debutante’s Guide to Ruin is the first book in the new series The Debutante Files by Sophie Jordan and it does not disappoint!  It is heartwarming and adorable at the same time.  A little less on the spicy side but still very entertaining. I really love Rosalie and Declan’s story.  Although there aren’t that many interactions between the two, they still sizzle whenever they are in a scene together.  Because of Declan’s grudge with Rosalie’s mother, he lumped her in the same ilk as she and had a hard time accepting her as a different person.  Rosalie, on […]
