This challenge will go on forever (or as long as I will be reading and blogging, anyway). This is a personal challenge, so to speak. I will be listing down all the books that have my name as one of the characters, no matter how minor or insignificant this character might be. As you might know (or might not), my name is pretty unique, for a girl. I haven’t met anyone with the same name as mine and don’t really see my name used in the printed word or in movies. My name is EZRAH. Yes, it has an H […]
This is a reworked story that has been out of print written by Sabrina Jeffries as Deborah Martin. Before I give my review, I just want to let everyone know that I have not read the original book so I cannot point out the differences between the two and which parts have been reworked. That being said, I totally enjoyed reading By Love Unveiled. I admit that it is different from what I am used to Sabrina writing, but the female protagonist, Marianne is as feisty and strong as her newer heroines. The story starts off with Marianne, masquerading as […]
I am so pleased to welcome Jess Michaels to my blog! She is here promoting her newest release Her Perfect Match available now. Welcome to I Heart Romance, Jess! You are my first author interview so I am super excited! I have also been a fan of your books and I can’t wait to read the last book in the Mistress Matchmaker Series. Let’s start with the Q&A! Can you tell us a little bit about Her Perfect Match? In HER PERFECT MATCH, Vivien Manning, who has meddled in the love lives of the couples in the first two […]
I was anticipating Vivien’s story since I read her in the first book, An Introduction to Pleasure. Now, reading the first chapter blew me away. It introduced us to the depraved life of Vivien and how she has been living her life year after year after year. The first scene actually made me empathize with her as she was trying to find fulfillment in her life. Considering all the parties and sexual conquests, she was getting fed up with it. We also get to revisit the previous couples of the other two books and in a way, it makes Vivien […]
A new month is here! I’m pretty excited this much as this month marks our 5th wedding anniversary! I still can’t believe that we made it to 5 years. This marks 11 years of us being together. Anyway, on to my list. I saw Beautiful Creatures on the Big Screen last month and I was intrigued. The movie was pretty meh for me but the premise of the whole series caught my attention. Plus, the series was discounted during the movie premiere week so I bought my copy. I also bought By Love Unveiled by Sabrina Jeffries which I had […]
I had high hopes for February. With it being the month of love, I thought I would be reading a lot of romance! Unfortunately, that was not the case. I’ve had hits and misses this month and have only finished reading TWO books! Can you imagine that? I’ve probably opened up to 5 books last month that I haven’t finished. Here’s a short recap of the books that I read – some I did finish and some I didn’t. Everneath by Brodi Ashton – ♥♥♥ A Mermaid’s Kiss by Joey W. Hill – ♥♥♥ The Importance of Being Wicked by Victoria […]
Everneath is loosely based on the Greek mythology of Persephone and Hades and of Orpheus and Eurydice with mentions of the Egyptian gods Isis and Osiris. The story starts 6 human months after the feed where the main protagonist Nikki awakens after being sent to the Everneath (or the Underworld). The Feed or Feeding is the way an Everliving (those immortals that live in the Underworld) can continue their immortal lives by stealing/feeding on the emotions and memories of the living (humans). The feed lasts for a hundred years which is like 6 months of human time. Once you have been […]
For some reason, this song has been playing on my mind for the umpteenth time since last week. In fact, hubby has been so annoyed he always skips this song when I play it. So yeah, I was listening to the song while driving home from work. Guilty! This song reminds me of the following books Do you have any song right now that reminds you of a certain book or books? Comment bellow!
