Ten New to me AuthorsHosted by KimberlyFaye Reads

Happy Holidays, Wormies!

This year has been a year of exploring outside my comfort zone, i.e. exploring genres that I normally don’t read! I was feeling petty hesitant about this at the beginning of the year, but I can’t believe that I have gone this far and read a lot of books that I normally don’t give a second glance too!

Here are a few authors that have stuck to me and I am definitely looking forward to reading their backlist!

Sara Ney

Rebecca Zanetti

Laura Thalassa

Grace Draven

Phoenix Unbound Review

Nalini Singh

Lauren Layne

Hot Asset Review

Kylie Scott

Jayne Frost

Down to You Review

Katie McGarry

Pushing the Limits Review | Breaking the Rules Review

Susan Elizabeth Phillips

It Had to Be You Review

Have you read any of these authors before?

Do you read outside your comfort zone?

  1. You should go back and read through Lauren Layne’s backlist. She’s got so many great ones there. I love her!! Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changelings series is the bomb too and holy cow, I haven’t read an SEP in ages! Great list, Zee!

    • I’ll check her Psy-changeling series! I like her Guild Hunter one but it’s a little bit hard to start the second book for some reason…

  2. You have some authors listed that I truly love, and some I’ve yet to try. I simply adore Katie McGarry. She’s long been a favorite. And when it comes to contemporary YA, she’s my #1. Lauren Layne is a go-to when I want something a little lighter. And Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series is so good. (I seriously love Mal! LOL) Her YA contemporary, Trust, was excellent, too. I’ve heard such great things about Sara Ney. I really need to try her soon.
