Fans of historical romance authors Lorraine Heath and Sophie Jordan will adore Vivienne Lorret's latest Wallflower Wedding novel.
Delaney McFarland is on the hunt for a husband—preferably one who needs her embarrassingly large dowry more than a dutiful wife. After the unspeakable incident at her debut, Delaney knows marrying for love is off the table, but a marriage of convenience—one that leaves her free to live the life she chooses—is the next best thing, never mind what that arrogant, devilishly handsome Mr. Croft thinks. Delaney plans to marry for money . . . or not at all.
Ever since the fiery redhead burst into his life—in a most memorable way—Griffin Croft hasn't been able to get Miss McFarland out of his mind. Now, with the maddening woman determined to hand over her fortune to a rake, Griffin knows he must step in. He must help her. He must not kiss her. But when Griffin's noble intentions flee in a moment of unexpected passion, his true course becomes clear: tame Delaney's wild heart and save her from a fate worse than death . . . a life without love.

My Thoughts
I really enjoyed Finding Miss McFarland so much! The third book in Vivienne Lorret’s Wallflower Wedding series, Finding Miss McFarland is an awesome read.
Delaney, the heroine, is a very interesting character. Coupled with her tendency to be clumsy, especially when she is around Griffin Croft. Unfortunately for her, their first meeting turns out to be one of the most talked about incidents in the ton which. This led her to go out of her way to avoid Griffin, to the point of sending someone to stalk him (just so she can avoid him). But as fates would have it, they accidentally see each other at the park which would lead to a series of “clumsy” events for Delaney.
The story is fast paced and written really well. I love the relationship building that Ms. Lorret had done to make the ultimate falling in love all the more romantic.
Finding Miss McFarland turned out to be a really fast read for me. Definitely, a must read for romance lovers.

I love the "marriage of convenience" trope in historical romances. They fail miserably because the hero and heroine end up with happy ever afters! 🙂 Which is as it should be. Love to read stories like this. jdh2690@gmail.com
Yes! Definitely!
I haven't read any of the books as yet but they sound great. Thanks for the giveaway.
I haven't read this series yet but wallflowers finding love is one of my favorite tropes so I'm looking forward to reading all and finding that favorite!
I like the second and third book of this series 🙂
