Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
I am a creature of habit and I normally don’t venture into the unknown. Yeah, I know. I’m boring. But last year was a revelation to me. I actually started reading outside my comfort zone and discovered a few new-to-me authors along the way!
Jennifer L. Armentrout
I first picked up her book, Wait for You on a whim and I was SOLD. This is perhaps the best book I read last year and I can’t stop recommending this book like crazy! I am currently in an NA kick because of this book!
Christina Lauren
I first discovered this writing duo when I found out that they will be signing books at The Ripped Bodice in early December. So, I decided to pick up Beautiful Bastard and was I surprised. AND HOOKED! AND OMG!!!! I practically binged read some of their backlist books! Eeep! Sweet Filthy Boy is perhaps one of the best ones I read from their backlist.
Tessa Bailey
I first read her book Disorderly Conduct and I loved it! I also read books from her backlist and was really surprised how hot it was!
Kristen Callihan
I first read Evernight and then Firelight I was hooked! I actually looked up Kristen Callihan and discovered that she also wrote New Adult! Well, to my surprise, I enjoyed The Hook Up!
Sarina Bowen
I love Elle Kennedy and when I discovered that she wrote a series with Sarina Bowen, I was intrigued. I went ahead and borrowed Rookie Move and Hard Hitter and enjoyed both of them!

Elizabeth May
I have only read one book by Elizabeth May and boy was I AMAZED! The Falconer is one of my favorite reads this year?! I still need to read the next two books in the series, though!

Jay Crownover
Jay Crownover is another amazing find in 2017! I loved Welcome to the Point series and also found out that she has a new adult series! OMG!
Sophie Barnes
Sophie Barnes is another amazing find in the historical romance genre and I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series A Most Unlikely Duke. I need to read some of her backlist books, too!
