It had an awesome premise! Born to Kill by Erin Trejo [DNF Review]

My thoughts are probably more on the unpopular side, but I was frustrated by this book. Born to Kill is my first Erin Trejo book and it really put me off. First, I liked the premise – dark romance, unrequited romance, Mafia. I was seriously excited to start reading this book. Unfortunately, I made it to 50%ish before I had to mark it as a DNF. Starfall by Melissa Landers | DNF Review

Starfall by Melissa Landers | DNF Review

I am finally DNFing Starfall because OMG the heroine is super annoying and the hero is so beta that I can’t even! It has been a few months since I put this book on hold and the recent restart still did not help at all! I enjoyed Starflight, the first book in the series. The banter was spot on and the characters were amazing! But Starfall totally missed the mark and did not have the same charm as that of the previous book. I eventually had to DNF the audiobook because I just couldn’t listen to Cassia anymore. She was […]
