Happy Tuesday, Wormies! I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the month! Time does fly so fast, right?
As you know, I mostly read historical romance but I have read other genres that were so far from romance that I can’t believe I actually read and enjoyed it! So, I will be sharing those books here!
Michael Crichton’s sci-fi books are so far beyond the realm of romance that I can’t even believe that I read them! I have read a number of his highly technical sci-fi books when I was in 6th grade and I absolutely LOVE them!
Now, I read YA sci-fi just for fun. I mean, highly technical sci-fi is just not my thing anymore because I feel that they are too heavy with techy stuff.
When I was a freshman in high school (that is 7th grade here in the US), I read these two books. WOW! I probably won’t read these types of books again because they are just too damn depressing but I have to say, I enjoyed reading them way back when.
When I was in Nursing school, I picked Toxin from my shelf. My mom had been sending me random books and this was in the pile. Well. Let’s just say that this was such a revelation. I also read another book in high school A Case of Need because I was a fan of Michael Crichton. Let’s just say that medical thrillers are why I love watching medical dramas on TV (and also reality based medical shows). But I probably will not read any more of these type of books, though.
Have you read any of these books?
Do you have books that you read but you can’t believe that you did?
