Hey, everyone! Happy holidays! This year, I decided to do something different with my reading challenges. I guess I HAVE proven to myself that I CAN read 100 books in a year. However, this year, I want to focus more on actually reviewing (even mini-reviews) the books I read. I have also joined a few more challenges this year than last year (I guess?). Hopefully, I won’t be as lazy I was at updating my challenges as I did last year.
Starting with the Goodreads reading challenge, I am challenging myself to read AND review 80 books. This is a lot less than last year where my goal was 100 books. But this time, I am adding the reviewing aspect of this challenge. My goal would be to read AND review 80 books this year. I’m keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
So, this is my personal challenge. I am challenging myself to read 12 physical books this year. I have noticed that I have been reading more ebooks and listening to even more audiobooks in the last couple of years and it really makes me sad. I can still remember a time when I swore not to read any ebooks AND listen to any audiobooks. Yes I really stuck my proverbial foot in the mouth, didn’t I?
Before I joined this challenge last year, albeit not as actively as I wanted to be, I re-read my favorite books. So, I decided to do this challenge again! Last year has been fun and I believe I met my goal of 8 books in less than 6 months! This year, I am aiming for 10 books to re-read. I also decided to mix it up with adult and young adult books.

GOAL: 10 previously read & loved books
So, I purchased a few books and received a few ARCs, plus the books that I received as an Avon Addict that I haven’t read yet. My goal is to FINALLY read those, and I think this challenge will help me reach my goal. I will read the books that I obtained prior to January 1, 2016 (that’s a lot) and promise to read 20 previously obtained books. I also promise to purchase only 1 book per month if any to help decrease my TBR pile.

Goal: 20 previously obtained books, purchase only 1 book a month
I am not listing the books previously obtained because THAT is a lot, and I am not sure which book will fit my current mood.
During the last legs of 2015, I signed up to join the discussion challenge and I loved it! Loved it so much that I am signing up again this year. The trick now is to actually come up with bookish/blogging topics to talk about dan dan daaaaan. Scary. I am aiming to come up with 20 discussion topics this year. So #LetsDiscuss2016.
